11 long, agonizing days...

Early I mentioned that I am going to Walt Disney World for my birthday.  This upcoming trip will mark my seventh visit to "The World."  It may be embarrassing to admit, but I can't help it, I still act like a giddy child every time we reach the end of our vacation countdown.



As you can see, we are staying at Disney's Old Key West Resort.  Yes, we are Disney Vacation Club members (newbs - 2011), but this is our first time staying at this particular resort.  I am looking forward to doing an update on the resort amenities and our studio room (yes, a studio.  Don't judge  - we are cheap bastards.  How else would we afford multiple trips AND artisan beer?).  With our membership we also had the privilege of staying at Saratoga Springs as well as our home resort - Animal Kingdom Lodge (there isn't anything as nice as waking up to giraffe, zebra, gazelle and African artifacts).

After this trip, I swear I will discuss more than the awesomeness of Hollywood Studios, for fear of being a social pariah.  I get it, most people hate the park....

Fair warning though - most likely my updates will be about all the cake I had and being tortured by Jimmy Buffett tunes whilst drinking cocktails by the pool.
